Company Name- THAKUR PUBLISHERS Designation - Editor Salary – 9000/- p.m. Location- Lucknow Job Summary: Editing is the process of reviewing and then condensing, correcting or arranging written material with the objective of preparing it for Publishing. Duties and Responsibilities- 1- To prepare the study material of various courses. 2- To coordinate and communicate with Authors/Writers/Reviewers. 3- To solve question papers of yester years. Designation –Copy Editor Salary- 10000/- p.m Job Summary: Copy editing includes contracting and evaluating a manuscript; reviewing and rewriting the work of writers. The duties of a copy editor often include acting as a fact checker. They must be familiar with reference material and sources. Copyeditors must also be well versed in proper grammar, spelling and punctuation as a copy editor’s job often requires him to make sure the publications are error free. Duties and responsibilities: 1- Reframing the matter given by the Authors/Writers/Reviewers without changing its meaning. 2- Ensure the meaning conveyed is correct and ensure the relevance of any subheadings. 3- Recommending improvements in all editorial materials and ensuring that they are correct. Skill and Educational Requirement: 1-Minimum Post Graduate in respective discipline (MBA/MCA/B.Pharm) 2-Computer working Knowledge of Ms Word and Internet is must. 3- Age below 35 years. The package may vary from 12000 to 18000 P.M, depending upon the performance during probation. A training period of 15 working days is mandatory which will be without stipend.
